Just because it’s
still dark and others are sleeping doesn’t mean the day hasn’t already begun.
Someone said “if
you want it (goals, resolves) achieved that year, begin in the first quarter”
You know what is
said about early birds…
12 “Have you
commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its
place, 13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be
shaken out of it?
(Job 38:12)
1 O God, You are
my God; early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts
for You; my flesh longs for You
In a dry and
thirsty land where there is no water.
(Psalm 63:1)
Even from the way they are spelt, the
first, second and third positions stand out from the rest (fourth,
fifth…tenth).
While others may merely be recognized,
the first three are mostly rewarded.
6 But without faith it is impossible to
please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a
rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6)
After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.
(Hosea 6:2)
Like the hands of
clock at 3:00am, something about the connection of the vertical and the
horizontal at 90 degrees makes it a “right
angle”.
Those who touch
Heaven, change earth.
11 And so it was,
when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his
hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone
and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands,
one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady
until the going down of the sun. 13 So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people
with the edge of the sword.
(Exodus 17:11-13)
