MANIFESTING GLORY | JULY 2019

1 Kings 18:41-46 NLT

41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go get something to eat and drink, for I hear a mighty rainstorm coming!”

May this new month mark the beginning of unending laughter and unstoppable celebration.
(Jeremiah 30:19, Psalm 126:1-3)

42 So Ahab went to eat and drink. But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees.

There is a price for the prize.
In warring with prophecy, we P.U.S.H to B.I.R.T.H
(1 Timothy 1:18, Hebrews 6:10-12)

43 Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.” The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.” Seven times Elijah told him to go and look.

That it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
Significant delays often precede significant deliveries.
(Habakkuk 2:3, Ecclesiastes 3:11)

44 Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.” Then Elijah shouted, “Hurry to Ahab and tell him, ‘Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don’t hurry, the rain will stop you!’”

We seek until we find. Those who can see it, can seize it.
Until you start seeing it, don't stop saying it.
(Genesis 13:14-15, Jeremiah 1:11-12, Proverbs 18:20-21, Numbers 14:28)

45 And soon the sky was black with clouds. a heavy wind brought a terrific rainstorm, and Ahab left quickly for Jezreel. 46 Then the Lord gave special strength to Elijah. He tucked his cloak into his belt and ran ahead of Ahab’s chariot all the way to the entrance of Jezreel.
1 Kings 18:45-46 NLT

The second half of a football game usually comes with several instructions and a game plan.
Those who do not take responsibility to obey instructions given, become a liability to the team.
May our lives be effulgent as we take ordered steps in the direction of glory this month onwards.

May this second and better half of 2019, bring about RECOVERY and RESTORATION of all that has been lost.

May every process of favor and blessing initiated, be perfected and manifested in this season.
(I Samuel 30:8‭, ‬18‭-‬19)

DATE WITH A STRANGER

He must have looked out that window a dozen times since I observed him about five minutes ago. Almost every time someone walked in, he seemed a little nervous … A short while afterwards, a young lady walked in and he smiled like a little boy as he took off his headphones and hood to wave at her. She…smiled and walked towards his table. I wasn’t paying much attention until I heard him say… those words and I caught myself just in time before putting down the paper I was reading to look again at the person he was referring to.… she answered “do you remember your Sunday School stories?”…he was as surprised as I was when he retorted “Sunday School?”. …Read more

AN EVENING TO REMEMBER

He...started several businesses...with drug addicts and prostitutes...he would...ask them bluntly “how bad are you?”...In most cases, none of them had done as much drugs, porn, slept with or killed as many people as he had. On hearing his story, most of them said “ha? Me I be saint be that o (wow, I must be a saint then)”...One day, he was recounting how he had personally killed about nine people before it dawned on him that the number wasn’t accurate...“I think I must be a god because...people in my vicinity are either killed just before I arrive or just after I left”... Read more
