Have you ever desired to complete the Bible in one year only to get stuck in Genesis? Well, join the queue, you're not alone!

The #REDChallenge promises to make going through the Bible in 2021 easy with these 4 simple steps.

1. Pick a set time daily (preferably before 8:00am).

2. Go to https://bit.ly/REDChallenge

3. Read the passages you see OUT LOUD TO YOUR OWN HEARING (or use an audio Bible). You should be done in about 24mins more or less!

4. Comment "Transformed" in the comment section. you might add any insights you received from the passages you read also!

    Chapter 1

    Verse 1 MSG
First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see.

    - "all you don’t see" - the red blood cell, the artery, the DNA structure, the creatures way down at the bottom of the sea, organisms that will be discovered soon, the memory code (how do we remember), the instinct trigger (how animals react by default)... AWESOME GOD!

    Verse 2 AMPC
2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

    - "brooding over the face of the waters" - Stay around the solution until it solves/becomes a solution. If you are not asking questions, you may not recognize answers.

    - Seems to me, water has something to do with solutions. e.g. Naaman (2 Kings 5:14), man blind from birth (John 9:7), Water into wine (John 2:7-11) etc

    Verse 13 NLT
13 And evening passed and morning came, marking the third day.

    - whatever darkness may seem to prevail, it doesn't make the whole story. A new day will dawn.

    Verse 31 NLT
31 Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!

    - We say it, we see it. God saw instantly what he spoke perhaps because he's not in time but time is in him.
When we speak, we often initiate a process. Depending on the kind of "food we order", we may wait longer. We should not leave the restaurant because the food is taking forever - we'll remain hungry...and someone else may walk in to come upon a meal he didn't have to wait for.

    - Such a God of order. The habitats before the inhabitants. Light came before the plants that need sunlight arrived. The sky came before the birds that will fly in it. All was ready before man was created. It's really being Godlike to plan ahead.

    - God spoke to the essence of whatever was created. Earth for vegetation and beasts, heavens for the greater and lesser light and Himself for man.

    Chapter 2

    Verse 5 & 6 NKJV
    5 before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;
6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

    - The mist (vapor, fog) began the solution to the problems of no plant, no herb, no rain & no man. Water on earth makes mud available, then comes man, trees and the river (this particular insight is influenced by the BibleProject)

    - Abuse of the "trees at the center" brings shame. Enough said. (Proverbs 5:20)

    Verse 23 NLT
“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman, ’because she was taken from ‘man.’”

    - Bone (structure, support) before flesh (beauty, glory).

    1. When man was created, it was all good.

It was when man became fully functional in his assignment that it was now “not good” for him to be alone.

The assignment and assessment came before the assistant

    Chapter 3

    Verse 6 NIV
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

    - Is this what the Apple logo implies with the bitten side? "we know and see something you don't...yet"

    Verse 12 NIV
The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

    - the mind that seeks who to blame, remains lame.

    Verse 21 NLT
And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.

    - The first "fashion designer" made a proper clothing for them; obviously the one they had on was "revealing a little too much". Seems to me, God indeed intends garments to be for glory (dignity) and beauty (honor, splendor) (Exodus 28:2).
